

In order to maintain permanent resident status, one must show that they have resided in Canada for a minimum of 730 days. One may also be eligible if they are able to show that although they have not met the required number of days, that this is due to working for a Canadian company outside of Canada, accompanying a Canadian family member outside Canada.
